- Karen Merquis Review added: 2018.11.30★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I took my 6-year old great grandson to this Subway today. He has autism and expects things to be as they always are. Normally he has the Kids' Pack with a cheese and ham toasted sub. When I ordered this I was told they had run out of ham. I told my great-grandson and he asked for bacon instead. Before I could ask my server, the other server jumped in and said he couldn't have bacon in a kid's sub! We eventually agreed on just cheese. When he came to eat, there was hardly any cheese on the bread, and it was like eating a dry sub. He took a couple of bites and left it. They didn't have any chocolate chip cookies either, so he had to settle for a rainbow one instead. Children with autism find it very difficult when things they usually have are suddenly unavailable, and it causes issues for parents/carers. Surely if they've run out of something, they should offer a reasonable alternative. There was a lot of bacon in the container, it wouldn't have hurt to put a couple of pieces of bacon on the sub. I felt I had wasted my money, as most of the food was uneaten. I certainly will not be visiting Subway again.
